    Fish fry in Stonington

    Stonington — Volunteer Elaine Ahern sends orders of fried clams and fish and chips into the dining room at the Portuguese Holy Ghost Society during the first weekly fish fry of this Lenten season Friday in Stonington Borough.

    The society serves up fish and chips, clams, scallops, shrimp, calamari and clam chowder from noon to 7:30 p.m. each Friday during Lent through Good Friday.
