Police said they seized about 3.3 ounces of marijuana and $142 from Riley.

Police also arrested a 17-year-old for whom state police previously had issued a Silver Alert. The juvenile, facing drug and weapons charges earlier this summer, had somebody pick him up after he arrived at an unlocked facility in Litchfield.

He faces charges of possession of marijuana, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and carrying a pistol without a permit, police said. Police said they seized from the juvenile almost 15 grams of marijuana, 2.6 grams of crack cocaine and a .25-caliber semi-automatic pistol.
