WHO: Low-income working families with minor children who live every day on the edge of homelessness.

AGENCY: Always Home Inc., formerly Mystic Area Shelter & Hospitality.

THEIR SITUATION: For the past 20 years, Always Home has pursued one mission — preventing family homelessness. Our goal is to keep families housed and to help parents create lasting stability for their children. Last year, Always Home helped 231 families — 729 family members, including 435 children under the age of 18. Seven-year-old Aaron was one of those children who never experienced homelessness because Always Home was there to help.
