Mystic — The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center will present a free program about coyotes and other predators in southeastern Connecticut backyards from 6 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 19.
The program is a response to recent sightings of coyotes in Mystic and Stonington.
Molly Check, education director at the nature center, will give the talk. Before moving to Connecticut, she worked at several other nature centers in Minnesota and Pennsylvania.
The program will help dispel some of the myths, misinformation and fear that local residents have for the mammals that share local neighborhoods.
