Machinist Mate 'A' School holds graduation

Groton — Twelve sailors of "ADCAP Class 16050" graduated from Machinist Mate (weapons) "A" School on June 17.

Fireman Jose Diaz received the Torpedoman Plaque as class honorman.

Machinist Mate (weapons) "A" School is a 10-week enlisted apprentice training school providing basic knowledge and skills at the entry level in the MM rating in shipboard 3-M, mechanical skills, 3-inch launcher operation, explosives, torpedo tubes and MK 48 ADCAP torpedoes and Tomahawk cruise missiles.
