New London — Police have identified the man who died last Thursday of a possible drug overdose at Dunkin' Donuts on Broad Street as 23-year-old Joseph A. Perdomo. 

Police and firefighters responded to the Dunkin' Donuts at 175 Broad St. for a report of an unresponsive man in the bathroom. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputy Police Chief Peter Reichard said last Thursday that it appears to be a possible drug overdose, but the cause of death is under investigation. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

Perdomo's last address is unknown by police.
