North Stonington — A tractor-trailer crash that occurred on Interstate 95 south around 5 a.m. and caused delays for hours Monday morning has been cleared, according to the state Department of Transportation.
State police said two vehicles were involved in the wreck, in which a tractor-trailer rolled over and went down an embankment between Exits 93 and 92. Information about the second vehicle wasn't immediately available.
DOT officials said subsequent construction, which caused the closure of the right lane of I-95 south between Exits 93 and 92, would be finished at 3 p.m.
