New London police: Multiple people injured in Saturday night crash

New London ― One person was in the hospital with serious injuries, police said Sunday, after a two-car crash in the area of Broad and Colman streets Saturday night.

Police Chief Brian Wright said the accident, which occurred around 11:49 p.m. Saturday, left several people were injured, who were taken to the hospital. Wright did not say how many were injured, or identify them.

Police are still investigating the accident, Wright said.
