Mashantucket — Foxwoods Resort Casino reopened its poker room Thursday, nearly a year after the entire casino temporarily shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Other spaces on the property, including the Rainmaker Casino, the Live@Atrium Bar & Lounge and the Topgolf Swing Suite, will reopen March 12, Foxwoods announced.

Poker at Foxwoods, the largest poker room on the East Coast, is now open from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week. New safety measures in place include social-distance markings, plexiglass barriers, digital signage, numerous hand-sanitizing stations and a mandate that dealers and players wear masks.

Rainmaker Casino will reopen next week from 9 a.m to 1 a.m. Friday through Sunday, offering a sanitized, socially distanced gaming floor and complementary beverages, including coffee. The Topgolf Swing Suite, located near The Fox Tower casino, includes a bar and lounge that will be open from noon to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 1 a.m. Sunday. The kitchen will be open from noon to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 2 a.m. Sunday.

The Live@Atrium Bar & Lounge, which features live entertainment, will be open from noon to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 1 a.m. Sunday.
