There’s nothing happening Saturday at La Grua Center in Stonington.

So if you feel the need to spend time in, oh, Bridgeport or Woonsocket, that’s the day to do it.

Otherwise, you’ll be at La Grua.

On Friday, they host a free, family-happy concert on the green featuring the genre-bending Americana band Cold Chocolate.

And in a special Sunday edition, the Music Matters series continues with a program called “Folksongs in Concert” featuring cellist Ani Kalayjian and violinist Hilary Castle Green. They’ll perform works in a mix of styles from places like Germany, Hungary, Armenia and North America. An exotic summer tour — without leaving Stonington!
