Garlic Festival is at Olde Mistick Village this weekend
If you smell something delicious in the air in Mystic this weekend, here’s what it is: The aroma of the 17th annual Garlic Festival at Olde Mistick Village.
Farmers from around the area will showcase a wide range of garlic varieties, as well as fresh produce, jams, honey, baked goods and more.
Local food establishments will sell some of their dishes featuring garlic, as well as some non-garlic ones for the few folks who aren’t fans of the vegetable.
Also on hand will be food vendors, crafters, artisans, artists and authors. And the shops in Olde Mistick Village will be showcasing their own garlic-related products.
Providing a soundtrack for the event: Local musicians and bands will perform around the site — 16 shows all told over the two days of the fest.
