St. Sophia in New London hosts Greek food festival
You know the best thing about Election Day? It’s the start of the annual Greek Food Festival at St. Sophia Hellenic Orthodox Church in New London!
From Nov. 5 through Nov. 8, the fest will offer its mouthwatering dishes, from moussaka to tiropeta to gyros to baklava. (The prices for those dishes are, respectively, $11, $5.50, $8, and $3 each.)
There are also a white elephant sale and a silent action, along with Greek folk dance performances at 7 p.m. Nov. 6 and 7 and church tours at 6:30 p.m. each day of the festival.
