    Save mowing dollars

Along with thousands of others, I spent an hour in traffic on I-95 while State of Connecticut workers mowed the median strip. What would be so wrong if the grass was higher? And if they had planted wildflowers, mowing would be unnecessary. However, my inconvenience does not compare to those in need who are suffering from loss of funding because we do not have a budget. Maybe less mowing and more aide to the needy would be more helpful at this time.
