    Offshore wind drives inflation

U.S. Offshore wind slammed by runaway costs, inflation (The Day Sept. 8, reprint from Bloomberg News). Orsted , the leader in the wind industry is threatening to walk away unless it gets more government aid. We should not be surprised, because when it comes to clean energy, our leaders are willing to dump millions/billions of our tax dollars into anything that falls under the “clean energy” stigma.

Inflation is strangling America as everyday prices continue to rise. The country has lost control. Gas and oil increased 20% in just a few short months, and with that comes increased costs in “everything” we purchase. To cope with inflation, the UAW is asking for a 46 % pay increase, and a 32-hour work week, with 40 hours pay. UPS, FEDX and other shipping companies have also threatened to strike or have already settled negotiations. The Writers Guild went out on strike for higher wages months ago and they’re still walking the streets.

Even locally our school bus drivers and health care workers are either striking for higher wages or have already settled. Inflation is just one of the reasons. America needs to move the clock back to January 2021 and start over.
