    Groton’s new Town Hall look

When you walk in the main entrance of the Groton Town Hall, please notice the extensive new plantings enhancing the area. The Groton Beautification Committee takes pride in fostering this landscape addition for our residents to enjoy and for those having business at this key town area. In addition, we will be doing a 2024 call for artists requesting several sculptures to grace our parks and other town-owned areas. They will join the “Solstice Dance” sculpture at Thrive 55, and the new fish/recyclable themed sculpture planned for Esker Point Beach.

Evidence supports art projects not only enhance quality of life, but are economic drivers for communities. We will continue projecting this kind of soft sell for Groton. We would like to especially thank Mark Berry, Parks Director, and John Burt, Town Manager, for their support, as well as the Town Council for approving ARPA money for these projects.
