It is no secret that the Crystal Mall is in serious need of redevelopment. Many ideas have been floated around on what the future may hold for the mall, but one of the best examples of what can be built in the space has been built in Winsdor with the new Champions Way Commercial Recreation Destination.

This includes the Day Hill Dome (which would be perfect for all the local soccer teams to use, both town and the three premier teams; other local facilities definitely don't have the capacity to meet the demand), the Fastpitch Nation softball complex, a brewery and two hotels on site. This development could be a true catalyst for growth for the area’s tourism business as well and sporting tournaments could be held at these venues. Let's make it happen and not let the mall wither away.
