Trump’s fine should go to needy not a defamation case
The government wants billions of dollars for unpaid college tuitions; there's no shelters for the homeless; food banks are always in need of money; the national mental health services are thin due to low fundings; big cities are in financial disarray due to the current mass array of immigrants; hospitals are overrun by ailing immigrants who have no insurance. Everywhere in our country, fundings are in dire need for the betterment of us all. And yet, the New York justice system deems it right and just to grant someone a $83.3 million fine against Donald Trump for "damaging her reputation.“ Wouldn't it make more sense to have him pay the award to any of these needy organizations rather than to just one person? He would still be penalized, but at least some good would come out of it.
