Waterford — Yessenia and Abel Gomez of New London brought their son Kelvin, 6, to Harkness Memorial State Park on Wednesday.
The family was taking advantage of the warm weather for a little bike-riding practice.
The spring-like temperatures were forecast to continue through the rest of the week, with highs in the mid- to high 40s and even in the 50s on Friday.
