COVID-19 case reported within Groton Middle School community

Groton — Groton school officials said they learned Monday that a person within the Groton Middle School community tested positive for COVID-19, and the person has been told to isolate at home.

“We have worked with Ledge Light Health District to determine and have already notified close contacts within the school,” Superintendent Michael Graner said in a notification.

He added that school officials are monitoring the situation with Ledge Light Health District.
