Groton — School officials reported they learned Friday that a member of the S.B. Butler Elementary School community tested positive for COVID-19.

"We have worked with Ledge Light Health District to determine and have already notified all close contacts within the school," Superintendent Michael Graner said in a notification to parents, guardians and staff. "The affected person has been instructed to isolate at home following public health guidelines."
