Dying alone
Say goodbye on the phone
We all stood in line
Wearing the masks of life
Trade one another
Stay far from your brother
We all had food for thought but
The nourishmnet had no meaning
An old photograph
A loved one’s last bath
We all washed the time away
Until there was no more
Sun on the rise
Were any of us wise
We all looked for a power
To drive the pain away
What did we find, keep looking
