Norwich ― The annual Memorial Day Parade will begin at noon Monday from the area in front of the Cathedral of St. Patrick, 213 Broadway, and will head north on Broadway to Chelsea Parade.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., a memorial ceremony will be held on Chelsea Parade near the flagpole and war memorial monuments. New wreaths will be placed at the war monuments, and taps will be played. The event will be held rain or shine.

The event is sponsored by the city of Norwich, The Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Norwich Area Veterans Council.
