Mystic’s FloatSwella moved to Sunday due to weather

Mystic ― FloatSwella, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been moved due to the threat of rain, to Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

The Downtown Mystic Merchants and Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce in partnership with North Swell are holding Dunkin’ FloatSwella 2024, a pop-up paddle-craft-only rally on the Mystic River, according to a news release.

Four launching points are being promoted: under the Interstate 95 highway bridge on River Road; Isham Street (at Bay Street); Water Street across from the Daniel Packer Inne; and Williams Beach at the Ocean Community YMCA.
