New London ― Members of the Connecticut Committee for Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and the organization Massachusetts Warheads to Windmills gathered at the Pequot Avenue roundabout to protest Wednesday.

The protest was to highlight General Dynamics’ role in what they called the ongoing genocide in Palestine and to call for an economic shift from the military-industrial complex to life-affirming industries.

The Connecticut Committee for Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, a New London-based coalition, includes the Connecticut Green Party, Hartford Catholic Worker, Voluntown Peace Trust and the War Resisters’ League.
