    Make a Difference: OIC

Who: Many of the clients that come to OIC are homeless or underprivileged and are hopeful of starting a new beginning in their lives. They have a desire to better their standard of living for themselves and their families.

Agency: OIC is a non-profit organization that provides vocational training and job placement services to low-income individuals in New London County for over 50 years.

What to give: OIC is requesting coats, hats, gloves or boots for men and women. The items are desperately needed for students who are unable to acquire them on their own.

To donate: All articles can be dropped off at OIC at 106 Truman Street, New London. OIC is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Anyone with questions can contact Nekeisha Grant at ngrant@oicnlc.org or (860) 447-1731.
