Will Evans plays United Westerly on Friday

Musician Will Evans, who has gone solo after being the primary songwriter and frontman for the New England-based roots-rock outfit Barefoot Truth, will perform in a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday at The United in Westerly. His technical mastery of live-looping showcases his skills as a multi-instrumentalist. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 on Friday,$75 for VIP meet and greet. Evans will also hold a pre-party and food drive from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Tapped Apple Cidery & Winery, 37 High St. The food will benefit the Jonnycake Center.
