I-95 in East Lyme reopens after crash

East Lyme― Both the north and southbound lanes of Interstate 95 between exits 72 and 73 were closed due to a serious two-car crash early Thursday night, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The 6:57 p.m. crash appears to have occurred in the northbound lane and one car appears to have caught on fire. At 8:15 p.m. state police said both lanes had reopened.
