Convertible crash claims life of 60-year-old Preston man

Preston — State police said a 60-year-old Preston man died Sunday morning after flipping his convertible in a crash on Middle Road.

Kraig R. Bressette of 157 Middle Road sustained fatal injuries in the 9:34 a.m. crash.

Police said Bressette was traveling north on Middle Road in a 1965 Ford Mustang convertible when police said the car veered into a grassy roadside area in the area of 194 Middle Road and onto a stone retaining wall.

Police said there is a 5-foot drop from Middle Road to the base of the retaining wall. The car rolled off of the retaining wall onto its roof, police said.
