    Truck driver killed in I-395 crash in Griswold

    Griswold ― A Massachusetts driver was killed Thursday morning when he lost control of his utility truck and crashed on Interstate 395.

    Timothy E. Murray, 42, of Ashby, Mass., was pronounced dead at the scene.

    State police said that at approximately 8:36 a.m., Murray was driving a 2019 Freightliner utility truck owned by the the Buckley Cable Construction Co. of Trainer, Pa., south on the highway between exits 24 and 28.

    Police said Murray was traveling in the right lane and just ahead of him the right lane was closed and traffic was being diverted into the left lane due to planned construction.

    The truck then struck two guardrails, rolled over onto its right side and went down an embankment.
