Police seek man who robbed bank in Waterford
Waterford — Town police are investigating a robbery Saturday morning at the People’s Bank branch at 716 Broad St.
Police said the bank was robbed at 10:55 a.m. Police, in a statement, did not reveal details of the incident but said no weapon was displayed and no one was hurt.
The suspect is a white man, 50 to 60 years old with scruffy facial hair who was wearing jeans, a long blue polo shirt and a dark blue ball cap with the word “Captain” on the front. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
