    H.S. lacrosse roundup: Page, Rourke lead NFA to victory

    Norwich — Molly Page had eight goals and two assists as Norwich Free Academy beat RHAM 15-3 in a nonleague girls’ lacrosse game on Thursday.

    Alice Rourke had two goals, including the 100th of her career, and two assists for the Wildcats (3-1), Hayleigh Young and Alex Tabilas had two goals and an assist each and Maeve Combies scored a goal.

    • Sydney Goulding and Ella Curtiss Reardon scored three goals each as Old Lyme beat Cromwell 15-1 in a Shoreline Conference game. Alexis Antonellis had two goals and an assist, Allie Krol scored twice, Anna Bussman had a goal and an assist and Grace Ferman had two assists for the Wildcats (4-0, 3-0).

    • New London/St. Bernard lost to Valley Regional 16-6 in a nonleague game. Malahika Paulo had four goals and Sofia Pero scored twice for the Whalers (0-5).

    • Tatianna Irizarry had seven goals and three assists for Ledyard in a 16-2 victory over Woodstock Academy on Wednesday. Helena Robinson added four goals and six assists for the Colonels (3-2) and Maddie McLeod finished with three goals and an assist.

    Boys

    • Boden Frost had five goals and three assists and Roman Rich scored five times as Fitch beat Woodstock Academy 15-4 in an ECC Division I game. Tate Gordon had three goals and three assists and Matt Deichler and Kae Gordon had goals for the Falcons (5-1, 2-1).

    • Nathan Mahoney had four goals and an assist as Stonington beat Waterford 8-7. Kyle Olsson and Cooper Light had two goals each and Maclan Griscom had two assists for the Bears (5-2). Ben Dubicki and Griffin Neal Griffin had two goals each and Cole Baumgartner, Xavier DelGrosso and Alex Bousquet had a goal each for the Lancers (2-4).

    • Mark Sauchuk, Will Sluggett and Noah Courter scored three goals each as St. Bernard/Wheeler beat Ledyard/Griswold 13-0 in an ECC Division II game. Ben Howes had two goals and two assists, Sauchuk had four assists, Jimmy Niles had two goals and an assist and Courter had an assist for the Saints (3-2, 2-0). Matt Tebbets made 12 saves for Ledyard (0-6, 0-1).

    • Ethan Lovetere had seven goals and two assist as Bacon Academy beat Montville 16-7 in an ECC Division II game. Trey Johnson had five goals and an assist, Brayden Ward scored twice, Tanner Kundell had two assists and Jameson Piro and Taylor Ladyga had a goal and two assists each for the Bobcats (2-1, 2-0). Chris Baukus had four goals, Calen VanVoorhies scored twice, Gavin DeLucia scored and Jake Watson and Jayden Sherwood each had an assist for the Wolves (1-6, 0-4).
