    Noteworthy: The Sun have lost two straight for the first time this season. Connecticut (13-3) fell to the Aces in Las Vegas 85-74 on June 21 and lost to the Storm 72-61 on Sunday in Seattle. The team concludes its three-game road trip in Washington. After returning home to host the Atlanta Dream on Friday night the Sun hits the road for two more games, July 1 at the Phoenix Mercury and July 4 at the Minnesota Lynx. The Sun are 2-0 against the Mystics this season. Sun forward Alyssa Thomas is first in assists per game (8.0) and fifth in rebounds per game (9.6) in the WNBA. Brionna Jones is third in field goal percentage in the WNBA, shooting 56.2% from the floor. As a team, the Sun are holding their opponents to 71.7 points per game, which ranks first across the WNBA. Connecticut is 58-35 all-time against Washington, which is coached by East Lyme High School graduate Eric Thibault. He is 0-6 against the Sun.
