ESPN's SportsCenter anchor uninjured in crash

EAST HARTFORD — An ESPN SportsCenter anchor thanked Connecticut State Police for helping him Sunday morning after he crashed on Interstate 84.
In a post on X, Randy Scott said he crashed Sunday morning after his car hydroplaned. While his car suffered some damage, Scott said he walked away from the crash uninjured, with the help of his airbags and wearing his seatbelt.
State police confirmed the crash was a single-vehicle crash and Scott's Toyota Highlander had to be towed from the scene. The agency added the crash occurred in the the westbound lanes by exit 58 at around 3:46 a.m.
