    Westerly woman found guilty of repeatedly punching a child, throwing another across a room

    A 27-year local woman was found guilty last week in Superior Court of assaulting two children, including one who she punched 10 times.

    State police on Wednesday arrested a Montville man who they say attempted to solicit sexual acts from two minors, including a 14-year-old girl, in the parking lot of Oakdale Elementary School in July 2021.
